I was very excited about these shoes. At that time, I reached a point where I did not like any everyday trainers and just wanted something different. The marketing behind these shoes, especially in Europe, really worked on me and I was convinced they would be the right choice. I got them on February 3, 2026.

I ran 76 kilometers or 50 miles in them, which is not much. Usually, my minimum mileage to judge a shoe is around 50 miles, unless the shoes are causing discomfort.
To be honest, my opinion did not change from the first run to the last.
I do like the upper. It is lightweight and not hot, which is a big plus.
The foam feels very similar to the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5, which I would describe as quite firm. The ride in the Azura feels firm, not bouncy, and somewhat flat. Even though the shoes have a relatively high stack, they do not feel soft, responsive, or energetic. The foam is not as bouncy as you would expect for this type of shoe. They also felt quite unstable for me, even on flat and even surfaces, which made the overall experience less comfortable. It is also not really fast enough for workouts or races.
The main issue for me was the fit. They are quite narrow, and I usually like narrow shoes. I feel comfortable in most Nike models, but in this case, the narrowness caused pain in my pinky toe to the point where I could not run.
Overall, I do not really see the purpose of this shoe. If someone is looking for a high stack cushioned shoe, this is not the right option. If someone wants speed, there are better choices on the market. And if someone is looking for a solid everyday trainer, there are also stronger options available.
I also did not like the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 because the foam simply does not work for me, but the fit was the most concerning part. Even though they are good looking shoes, I do not think every shoe needs to be built with a 40 mm heel stack. They could be lower, more minimalistic, wider, and more stable, where a firmer ride would actually make more sense.
